Bio and Band Stories:

In high school, we played for a Denver 10th ward activity. When we sang "Play That Funky Music" some of the older women in the ward were horrified at what they thought we were singing.

All seven members of Flight were crammed into Dunkley's mom's two-door Caprice, pulling a trailer. We got stuck in a snowdrift on South Pass, near Lander WY, on Super Bowl Sunday - just out of radio range of the game. We were stuck about 3 or 4 hours.

Playing two nights for the Duchesne County Fair - Friday in Roosevelt and Sat in Duchesne. So I had all day Saturday to spend in downtown Duchesne. I tell people I spent a week in Duchesne one day.

In Hawaii, we became friends with another band on the same Waikiki circuit. When they did "Play That Funky Music" they really did sing the words that the horrified ladies of the 10th ward thought they'd heard.

Jeannine and I wrote some songs for a company. When they were being recorded at Cliff Maag's studio, a lady set up a mini trampoline in the control room and was bouncing up and down to ensure she was happy with the tempo. Who needs a stinkin' metronome?

I did a project with Frank Okoren, and he managed to get violin virtuoso Eugene Fodor to record some of it. Eugene was an incredible talent.

Flight: Doug, Dave, Carolee, Ray, Rick, Dennis, Guy. Looks like we're ready to bless the refreshments to nourish and strengthen us just as soon as we get Rick to fold his arms.
