Born and raised in Cardston, Alberta Canada. Picked up the guitar at age 12. In high school formed the band SilverHart with 5 best friends. Played around southern Alberta. Wrote and recorded a single released on '45 rpm record. "Something Has Torn Us Apart" was a regional hit summer of 1982. What followed was Rick's College, an LDS mission to BOSTON Massachusetts, then BYU where I studied Music with an emphasis in Sound Recording Technology. At BYU I found a little time to play with a top 40 band LeBon. We played all over the state for many high school and college dances homecomings/proms. Following graduation it was time to raise a family....
Currently performing in HARTLEY ROAD with my high school friend/band-mate Orlan Cahoon, and BYU friend/band-mate, Thor Call.
